The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you rights over your personal data. Here's how to use them with Cloverr.
Your rights
- Access: ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct anything inaccurate. You can change most of your details yourself in Settings → Profile.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction: ask us to pause using your data while something is checked.
- Objection: object to uses based on our legitimate interests.
- Portability: get the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format.
- Automated decisions: ask a person to review a decision made automatically (for example a held email or a suspended account), and give your side.
- Withdraw consent: for example turn off push notifications at any time.
How to make a request
Email kyle@imkylejk.me from the address on your account, or tell us how to confirm it's you.
- It's free. We reply within one month. If a request is complex, we can take up to two more months, and we'll tell you if so.
- Organisation data. If your request is about data inside an organisation's workspace, that organisation is the controller. Ask them, or ask us and we'll pass it on and help them respond.
- Exceptions. We may refuse or limit a request where the law allows, for example to protect someone else's data or where we must keep records. We'll always explain why.
Who's responsible
Cloverr is run by Kyle Kozlowski, a sole trader based in Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for Cloverr accounts, and we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Kyle Kozlowski is responsible for data protection and can be reached at kyle@imkylejk.me.
